چکیده
This paper represents experimental and numerical study the behavior of rubberized steel frame connections. One single-bay, one-story without elastic buckling are cyclically tested. The specimens simulated analyzed by ABAQUS program. Four plane portal investigated under horizontal reversed cyclic loads. specimen connections developed using different diameters composite bolts/rubber instead conventional bolts to connect beams with columns. yield ultimate strength, ductility, envelope curves, damping ratio these compared. finite element method is used establish verify results laboratory test. tests gave a large load-carrying capacity, reduction in stresses, excellent ductility energy dissipation remarkably improved ratio.

Numerical and Experimental Investigations on the Behavior of Steel-reinforced Concrete Columns Subjected to Eccentric Loading
Steel-reinforced concrete (SRC) columns, which are classified as composite columns, became the most widely used in recent years; because of their extensive advantages over the reinforced concrete and the steel columns. In this paper, the ductility index and its influential factors were explored to investigate the behavior of SRC columns. A straightforward approach was then proposed by establish...
متن کاملa frame semantic approach to the study of translating cultural scripts in salingers franny and zooey
the frame semantic theory is a nascent approach in the area of translation studies which goes beyond the linguistic barriers and helps us to incorporate cognitive and cultural factors to the study of translation. based on rojos analytical model (2002b), which centered in the frames or knowledge structures activated in the text, the present research explores the various translation problems that...

Ground cylindrical steel fluid storage tanks are widely used in different industries. Regarding the significance of these structures, it is important to establish their proper performance in earthquakes by evaluating their seismic performance. The present study examines the seismic behavior of an unanchored fluid storage system via ABAQUS after validation using an experimental model. Next, the ...
متن کاملNumerical Simulation of Piles Subjected To Lateral Spreading and Comparison with Shaking Table Results
Pile foundations are relatively vulnerable to lateral loads. During liquefaction-induced lateral spreading, this vulnerability is particularly conspicuous due to a loss of strength and stiffness in the liquefied soil. A nonlinear effective stress analysis incorporating an elastoplastic constitutive model based on Finite Difference Method (FLAC2D program) was used to numerically simulate shake t...
متن کاملExperimental and Numerical Study of Perforated Steel Plate Shear Panels
Thin perforated Steel Plate Shear (SPS) Walls are among the most common types of energy dissipating systems. The applied holes reduce the shear strength of the plate and allow to decrease the profile size of the members at the boundary of the panel when these systems are used in the typical design of structures. On the other hand, the different fracture locations of these panels are visible whe...
